Helping Children Develop Their God-Given Qualities
Our Center's Philosophy
We believe that each child is a precious gift from God with unique and special qualities. Our major emphasis at The Christian Learning Center is to help children discover their God given qualities. We believe that children learn best in an interactive, "hands-on" environment. Since children need to feel secure before they will begin to explore their environment, we will give them love and respect, and help them learn how to interact with others. The activities will provide opportunities to develop their cognitive, social emotional, physical and spiritual growth.
We feel that play is the most important aspect of young childrens lives. It is essential to their well being and development. New concepts, new skills and new understanding come to children through play. While playing with others, children can formulate organized ideas, and become more flexible in problem solving. Children's attention spans begin to lengthen while they play. Their imaginations can take them anywhere they want to go. During play children will learn to communicate their thoughts, feelings, and needs to others. Children's "work" is play. That is how they prepare for the future.

Thank you, Sisters and Brothers for the support and encouragement that you have given the Youth Activities Committee (YAC) and the youth.
Over the last three years, we have achieved many things. Lots of progress has been made on many different levels. We should not, by any means, rest on our achievements... but continue to strive to save every Soul.
Our youth are constantly confronted with temptations which too often are not good ones. We hope to keep everyone active and productive in the church providing an atmosphere in which young Sisters and Brothers can cultivate a strong Christian life.
There is plenty of work in the vineyard and anyone from any age group is welcome help. There are Sisters and Brothers in the congregation that could use some assistance. There is no better place to start a good work than at home with family and loved ones.
We would like to initiate a NEW PROGRAM: the youth, under the supervision of adults, will perform tasks that will earn them financial assistance that will allow them to participate in activites that they might not otherwise be able to. Fund raising activites may include yard sales, car washes, recycling, yard services, etc.
The youth will also be visiting the elderly, sick and shut ins and joining in many other Christian activites.
We welcome and thank the YAMS for their ideas and recommendations; for their enthusiasm, their efforts, and their assistance in working with the youth. We look forward to a very long prosperous relationship.
